Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Growero Technologies (“Growero”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in the Growero HR mobile and web application (the “App”). The App is an internal Human Resource Management tool provided to Growero employees for attendance, leave, expenses, payroll, and field operations. It is intended for use by our employees and is not directed at the general public.

Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, work and personal email, phone number, employee code, designation, department, region, work location, joining date, date of birth, gender, and profile photo.
• Attendance & location: GPS location captured when you check in/out or log a field visit, including periodic location while a shift is active, to verify on-site attendance.
• Camera & photos: photos you capture or upload for expense receipts, odometer readings, and field-visit records.
• HR records: attendance logs, leave requests, expense claims, and related approvals.
• Payroll, banking & statutory: bank account number, IFSC, PAN, PF/UAN/ESI numbers, and salary details, used to process payroll and meet statutory obligations.

How we use your information

We use the information solely to operate the App and run HR functions, including: recording and verifying attendance, processing leave and expense requests, generating payslips and payroll, managing field operations, and complying with applicable labour and tax laws. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Device permissions

• Location — to verify attendance check-in/out and log field visits.
• Camera — to capture expense receipts, odometer photos, and field-visit photos.
• Photos / media — to let you attach images from your device.

You can revoke these permissions in your device settings; some features will not work without them.

How your data is stored and shared

Data is stored on secured, access-controlled cloud infrastructure (database and file storage hosted with reputable service providers). Access within the App is restricted by role (employee, manager, finance, admin). We share information only with: (a) service providers that host and operate the App on our behalf, and (b) authorities or statutory bodies where required by law (e.g., PF/ESI/income-tax filings). We do not sell personal data.

Data retention

We retain employee data for the duration of employment and for as long afterwards as required to meet legal, tax, and statutory record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by contacting your HR department or us at the address below.

Children

The App is for employed adults and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email.
